1. Platform Nature & Scope

NearbyCleaners.com ("NearbyCleaners", "we", "our", or "us") operates an online job search engine and discovery platform connecting verified cleaning businesses with solo cleaners and gig workers across Canada.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

To register an account or access specific features on NearbyCleaners, you agree to:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work or operate a business in Canada.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration details during onboarding.
• Maintain the security of your login credentials and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
• Promptly notify NearbyCleaners of any unauthorized account access or safety breach.

3. Job Listings & Matches

Job listings featured on NearbyCleaners are generated by third-party cleaning companies or aggregated using automated algorithms based on proximity and relevance. While we strive to maintain high quality:

• We do not guarantee job placements, response times, or wage rates offered by posting employers.
• Employers are solely responsible for verifying candidate qualifications, conducting background checks, and complying with Canadian employment standards and tax regulations (e.g., CRA requirements).
• Solo cleaners are responsible for verifying job conditions and maintaining valid liability insurance where applicable.

4. Premium Services & Feature Boosts

NearbyCleaners offers paid subscriptions and optional profile boosts to enhance visibility. All fees are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). Subscriptions auto-renew according to the chosen billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date via your Account Dashboard.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users are strictly prohibited from:

• Posting fraudulent, misleading, offensive, or discriminatory job listings or profiles.
• Bypassing platform verification procedures or submitting falsified credentials.
• Scraping, harvesting, or extracting platform data without explicit authorization.
• Engaging in harassing behavior towards other platform users or administrators.

6. Limitation of Liability & Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in Canada, NearbyCleaners provides the platform on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted platform uptime, listing accuracy, or the conduct of individual users. In no event shall NearbyCleaners be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from shift cancellations, performance disputes, or employment relationships.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
